Gokula Beech - Explanation
In this chowtaal, the poet describes Lord Krishna’s birth place. When He was born He was welcomed by Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva with their consorts. The devtaas, yaksh’a gandharva’s, and all people of Gokul also welcomed the Lord's incarnation as Krishna
The poet notes how the people of Gokul used to touch Lord Krishna’s feet and get blessed . The chowtaal goes on to describe the Lord’s miracles, remembering when Lord Krishna destroyed all the demons including the witch Poothana who was sent by Kamsa.
The poet describes how the people of Gokul lived with Lord Krishna when He was growing up. They enjoyed the Lord’s presence and they were always happy to see Him, touch Him, kiss Him and get blessings from Him, even we can also imagine if the Lord Himself comes and live in our village, how happy we will be.
The poet tells the story of when Lord Krishna was a child, He punished Kaliya who was poisoning Yamuna. Lord Krishna deliberately threw the ball in to the water of the Yamuna river to punish the demon Kaliya and to save the people and cows and other living creatures.
Lord Krishna ended up dancing on the heads of the snake demon and playing the flute.

Raghunandan awadh bihaaree kay shar rang maaree Abir gulaal kum kuma kaysharee, ghoree bharain pichkaaree Lakhi Lakhi rang ang par maarat

Raghunandan - Explanation
This poem explains how Lord Rama played Holi or Phagwah and how handsome he looked.
In these stanzas the poet describes the joy of those who will play Phagwah with Lord Rama. The poet believes that every human in His kingdom would want to play with the Lord by spraying colours on Him and submitting flowers to Him . The poet imagines that all the girls of Ayodhya are throwing colours and dancing with the Lord. In the Ramayana, Rama is very serious always, here the poet fantasizes about Rama playing like Lord Krishna with the girls and boys and every body .
The poet further explains with different colours how Raghuveer looks different. Basically the people of Ayodhya enjoyed playing with the Lord. The poet is sending a message here to us that while playing with other souls we should think that we are playing with the Lord himself because every Atma (soul) is part of Paramatma ( Divine soul) . Then we can see the whole universe is one family .
We know that Lord Rama is Ekapatnivrath ( the man with one wife) . The poet imagines the Divine Mother Sita while She is playing with Lord Rama. The poet imagines that She feels shy. He states that She is more beautiful and running away from the Lord because He was throwing colours on her.
This poem sends the message to the universe that Lord Rama is accessible for all the people of His kingdom.
The poet encourages us to submit to Lord Rama for that is the only way to get mukti (salvation)

Devi shaarada sumiri manaawo hirdai say jaanee Sumiran karo ram aroo latchman, bharat bhuaala bakhaanee Sumiran karo shrimaatu jaanki ho,
Tum ho teeni loak kee raanee hirdai say jaanee Shiva shankar bhola ko sumiro, sumiro gauri sayaanee Phir say sumiro ganesh kee moorati ho
Ati sundar pandit gyaanee, hirdai say jaanee Kari sumiran anjanee kay nandan, Meri araj yaha mani Phiri sumiro shree maatu bhagoutee ho
Tum hee ho aadi bhawanee, hirdai say jaanee Tulsidas sumiran kari gaawat, sur say aisee baani Sab dewan say aagya lai kay ho,
Baajay dhol manjeera aanee hirdai say jaanee
Devi Sharada - Explanation
Here Tulsidas ji makes Ganesh stuti and Saraswati Vandana before he starts the translation of the Ramayana. He is also advising mankind that before we start any thing we should invoke Lord Ganesha and Mother Saraswati The poet then tells to also do the invocation of Lord Rama, Laxman, Bharat, Satrughana and Hanuman ji and to chant the holy name of Janaki
Tulsidas then praises Mata Saraswati as Durga Bavani, he says that “You are the power house of Lord Shiva, you are the wisdom of Lord Ganesha, you are the sustaining power of Maha Vishnu, you are the Adishakti, you are the Annapoorna ( who provides food to everybody ).”
Tulsidas ji says She is even responsible for his writing skills and knowledge and also asks for Her blessing and that mankind has to adopt the characteristics of this Divine Mother
In this poem to Mata Saraswati, he gives us jagatjanani status. He is also asking us to take the blessings of Mother - Durga (Parvathi), Lakshmi, Saraswati - before we start any work as he did before he started translating Ramayana.
