Eligibility Criteria

All students who are going to appear in the exam must-know JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria. It will give an idea to the students whether they are eligible or not eligible to appear for the exam. Check JEE Advanced 2020 eligibility criteria in the following table.

Required Percentage Students must have scored 75% marks (65% for SC/ ST/ PWD category in 12th or equivalent examination.
Qualification Required You must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2019 or 2020.
Nationality All Indian National (including OCI/PIO) and foreign national students will be eligible to apply.
Age Limit Criteria You must have born on or after October 1, 1993. 5 years of relaxation will be given to SC, ST and PWD students.
Number of Attempts You can apply for the JEE Advanced exam maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
Mandatory It will be mandatory to appear in JEE Main 2020 exam for applying JEE Advanced 2020.
Performance You will have to come under the top 224,000 qualifying candidates in paper 1 of JEE Main 2020.

JEE Advanced 2020 Application Form

The Application Form for JEE Advanced will release in the month of May 2020. JEE Mains is a screening test for Joint Entrance Exam Advanced. Only those students will be eligible to fill JEE Advanced Application Form 2020 who successfully clear JEE Mains Cut Off. In the Application Form, you will be asked to fill your personal details. These details include your Name, Father’s Name, Address of the aspirant, Email Id, Phone Number, etc. You are requested to fill all the details in the application form as per your certificate record. If you provide any kind of wrong information in the form then there are chances that your application form may get rejected.

Admit Card

JEE Advanced Admit Card will release in the month of May 2020. It will be released in online mode. Students can download it from the official website after release. You will require Application Number and Password to download the Admit Card. It is the most important identity proof for the student. JEE Advanced 2020 Syllabus

  • Chemistry – Gaseous and liquid states, Atomic Structure and Chemical Bonding, Energetics, Chemical equilibrium, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, solid-state, solutions, surface chemistry, transition elements, ores and minerals, extractive metallurgy, preparation, properties and reactions of alkanes.
  • Physics – Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Electricity and magnetism, optics, modern physics, etc.
  • Mathematics – Algebra, matrices, probability, trigonometry, analytical geometry, differential calculus, integral calculus, vectors, etc.

JEE Advanced Answer Key 2020

IIT Delhi will release the JEE Advanced 2020 answer key in June after completion of the exam. It will be available in online mode in the official website. JEE Advanced Answer Key will mention the correct answer to the questions asked in the exam. It will be released for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The authority will also release the student’s response sheets of JEE Advanced exam along with the release of the answer key. Various Coaching Institute will release the answer key on the same day of the exam. But these are not 100 percent authenticate. You will have to wait for 7 to 8 days for the official answer key release.

Cut Off

JEE Advanced cut off is the minimum marks required to take part in the Counselling Process. Only those student can take part in IIT College Admission Process who successfully clear JEE Advanced 2020 Cut Off. It varies from year to year. JEE Advanced 2020 Result

The Result will be declared by the second week of June 2020. Students will be able to check their result through online mode. You will require Application Number and Password to check the JEE Advanced Result 2020. The Conducting Authorities will not send result separately to any student via mail, post or any other medium.

Counselling Process

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) will conduct JEE Advanced 2020 Counselling. All the seats across IITs, NIITs, IITs and other Government Funded Technical Institutes will be allocated by the JOSAA. You will require to fill the course of your choice during this process. IITs will release the list of courses for admission which will be made available at the time of online filling-in of choices.
