JEE Main Entrance Exam 2021 – The Application Form for JEE Main 2021 will be released in the month of September 2020. National Testing Agency is conducting body for JEE Main Entrance Exam. Every year NTA conducts the exam twice in a year in the month of January and April. Through JEE Main 2021 Entrance Exam, students will get admission in National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and many other centrally funded technical institutes. JEE Main 2021 Important Dates

All those students who are going to appear for the JEE Main 2021 exam must know important dates related to all the events of the exam. It will keep you updated so that you will not miss any events. JEE Mains 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria defines all the parameters which every JEE Main Aspirant must fulfill to apply for the exam. Your Application Form for JEE Main Entrance 2021 exam will be rejected if you violate any term and condition of the Eligibility Criteria. Check the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2021 in the following points.

  • You must pass class 12th or equivalent examination.
  • Qualify exam from a recognized Board/Institute.
  • Must qualify it either in 2019, 2020 or 2021.
  • Score at least 50% in Class 12th.
  • 50% aggregate in each subject is important too to apply for the exam.
  • There is no age limit criteria for JEE Mains Exam.

JEE Main 2021 Application Form

NTA will release the Application Form for the JEE Mains Exam in online mode. Students will be able to fill the Application Form at the official website i.e jeemain.nic.in. In the JEE Main 2021 Application Form, you will be asked to fill your basic details like Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Address, Email Id, Mobile Number, etc. Students are requested to fill all the details in the Application Form as per their certificate records otherwise your form may get rejected.

Admit Card of JEE Main 2021

National Testing Agency released JEE Main 2021 admit card for both January and April. The admit card will be released in the month of December and March at jeemain.nic.in. Students will be able to download JEE Main admit card 2021 by using their application number and password/ date of birth. The JEE Main hall ticket will describe student’s details, exam date and time, address of exam centres along with the photograph and signature in addition to exam instructions. Students are advised to check all the details on the JEE Main admit card 2021 and contact the NTA official for correction if there is any discrepancy. You must carry Admit Card to the exam centre in order to appear for JEE Main 2021 Entrance exam along with a passport size coloured photograph and photo ID. The admit card will also be required during counselling and admission.

JEE Main 2021 Exam Pattern

Students who are preparing for JEE Mains 2021 Entrance Exam must know the Exam Pattern. It will help you in preparation of the exam. By knowing the Exam Pattern, you will get a basic idea of the difficulty level of the JEE Main Entrance Exam. Check the Exam Pattern in the following points.

  • Exam Mode – NTA will conduct the exam in online mode only which is known as CBT (Computer Based Test).
  • Duration of the Exam – 3 hours. In the case of PWD students with 40% disability, 1 hour will be provided extra for completing the paper.
  • Medium – English & Hindi. For the aspirants appearing for the exam in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli exam centers, the language of paper will be in English, Hindi & Gujarati.
  • Number of Papers – 3 Papers. For B.E/ B.Tech course, JEE Main Paper – I will be conducted. While for B.Arch & B.Plan admission, JEE Main Paper 2 and 3 will be held.
  • Type of Questions – Multiple Choice Questions. According to the latest changes in the pattern of JEE Main, there will be questions in which answers are to be made in numerical values. Drawing test in JEE Main Paper 2 will be of subjective type.
  • Total Questions – The total number of questions in JEE Main Paper -1 (B.E/ B.Tech) – 75 questions; JEE Main Paper -2 (B.Arch) – 77 questions; JEE Main Paper -3 (B.Plan) – 100 questions.
  • Maximum Score – JEE Main Paper – 1 (B.E/ B.Tech) will be of total of 300 marks. While, JEE Main Paper -2 & 3 for B.Arch/ B.Plan will be of total 400 marks.
  • Marking Scheme – For each correct answer, 4 marks will be given. For every incorrect response, 1 mark will get deducted.

JEE Main 2021 Answer Key

NTA releases the JEE Main Answer Key 2021. This answer key will be released just a few days after the exam. Students must visit the official website and download the JEE Main Answer Key 2021. Login details are required to access the portal and download it. Aspirants should check their answers and verify all the mentioned solutions. In case they have any doubts or find any mistakes in this JEE Main provisional answer key, they can raise queries. On the official website of JEE Main i.e jeemain.nic.in, they can submit their doubts and the re-checking fees. If the doubt raised is correct then NTA makes the necessary changes in the Answer key, the candidates would receive the refund of this fee also. With the help of the answer key, you can calculate the marks before the result declaration.

JEE Main 2021 Result

JEE Key 2021 Result on the website will be announced in online mode during the last week of January 2021 (January session). By entering their date of birth & roll number, students will be able to know the results. The outcome of the April session exam will be revealed in April 2021, in the last week. NTA will not send the JEE Main Result individually to any student via mail, post or any other medium. You need to visit the official website to check the Result.

JEE Main Counselling 2021

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) organizes JEE Main 2021 Counselling from the second week of June 2021 onwards. It will commence from the fourth week of July 2021. Students will be expected to register, make payment of counseling fees & fill the option. Admission to the colleges will be provided on the basis of performance in the JEE Main 2021 Entrance Exam. You will require the following list of documents at the time of the counselling process.

  • Provisional seat allotment letter
  • Date of birth proof or 10th Certificate
  • Three passport size photographs
  • 12th class performance
