Students appearing in NEET 2020 have to follow the new rules and regulations as prescribed by the Conducting Authority i.e NTA. It decides a strict pattern for the dress in the NEET exam. NEET 2020 Dress Code

NTA decided dress code for both male and female candidates who are going to appear in the exam. There are special guidelines in the information bulletin of the exam for the candidates. Before entering the exam hall, candidates will be checked with the help of highly metal sensitive detectors. Do not carry any strictly prohibited item in the examination hall otherwise your candidature will be canceled. We are providing NEET Dress Code both for male and female students in this article.

NEET Dress Code 2020 For Male Students

  • Trousers and simple pants are preferred for a male students. Kurta pajama is not allowed.

  • Shoes are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. You should wear sandals and chappal with a thin sole.

  • Male candidates should ensure that they wear half sleeve shirts/T-shirts as full sleeve shirts are not allowed on the exam center.

  • Clothes worn by male students should be light ie., zip pockets, pockets, big buttons and clothes with elaborate embroidery should not be there.

NEET Dress Code For Female Students

  • It is best for the female students to avoid high heels and thick sole shoes and instead opt for sandals or slippers. Low heel footwear is also allowed.

  • You must avoid wearing any kind of jewellery like earrings, nose rings, rings, pendants, necklace, bracelet or anklets. Metal detectors may cause unnecessary hassle if the metal is found on the person.

  • Female students are requested not to wear clothes which have elaborate embroidery, flowers, brooches or buttons as this is prohibited in the NEET 2020 dress code.

  • No clothes with full arm length sleeves should be allowed to wear on the day of the exam. Following the dress code of NEET, female students should wear half sleeve clothes.
